Job Function

Regional Sales Representative/Product Specialist is responsible for following up on leads, cold calling, prospecting, and building relationships that will increase account penetration and customer satisfaction. Must initiate and take ownership of the principles of territory management, including: account planning, selling processes, post-sales implementation processes, and on-going service and training support. The Regional Sales Representative/Product Specialist must arrange appointments, make presentations, organize conferences, and support and maintain positive working arrangements with all clinicians and customers. She/he must keep up with the latest clinical data supplied by the company, and present and discuss this data with health professionals during presentations. She/he must maintain detailed records of all contacts, and that requires CRM database management. Regional Sales Representative/Product Specialist with work with managers to plan how to approach contacts and create effective business plans for a particular sales area. She/he will be required to attend company meetings and presentations. May be required to travel outside their geographical assignment and perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

A key link between the company and medical and health care professionals the Regional Sales Representative/Product Specialist must have advance knowledge of respiratory mechanics and ventilation, and/or a proven record of respiratory products sales to the medical profession.

  • Must be a registered nurse or certified or registered respiratory therapist with a minimum of two years of intensive care experience.
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Two years sales experience is preferred.
  • Candidates must be able to travel up to 70% of their time, and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Strong computer skills are required.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
